I thought someone would benefit from seeing this funny picture today. It's a gift for someone. I'm late on Christmas presents this year. We all had the flu. When I say we all, I mean my husband and my five kids. We have 3 boys and 3 girls. No, I didn't make a mistake. I know 3 plus 3 is 6. One is off on her own adventure in life right now. She's 19, my next is 18, 17, 14, 10, and 8. Anyway, we all had the flu and that was a fun way to spend Christmas.
A little more about myself. I enjoy crocheting, knitting, sewing, jokes, dogs, cats, reading, and occasionally I try to be healthy. I have seasons of healthy spurts. My jeans thank me and my stomach growls in hunger. It's a struggle.
My husband, five kids, and I all moved to Kentucky this past year to be closer to both our families. We have lived away from family for 18 years. It is an adjustment but a good one. My husband was in the Army and he retired so now we have more time together. Kentucky is beautiful!
I homeschool the kids. I only have 4 in school this year so that is nice and more time for hobbies!
My daughter, who is 14, has a very unique sense of style and saw this hat online. She oogled over it but isn't quite up to the task yet of making something this extensive so I made it for her for Christmas. She was ecstatic!
My goal is to bring joy to someone every day. :)
